Great new match ups at UFC 78 and even better at UFC 79.
UFC 78 also known as Validation comes action packed with Rashad Evans against Michael Bisping both undefeated.
After that comes the long awaited UFC 79 mega show down The Iceman Chuck Liddell against Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva.
If there is a fight that has been anticipated more than any other fight it will have to be this one. These two have wanted to fight for the longest time and the best time would have been when they were both holding a title (Chuck at UFC and Silva in Pride). Both are stepping into the ring now without a title, which does not make the fight less appealing. Silva has beaten Rampage Jackson, which has beaten Liddell twice and took the title away from him initially. If Silva beats Liddell he will have 3 losses in a row and it will be hard to bounce back from that and Silva will have a shot at Rampage in the UFC octagon. I personally like both fighters and wished Chuck would have won against Keith Jardine so he would not have such an uphill battle on this next match up. Either way it will be a great fight and my gut tells me “The Axe Murderer” will take this one home!
