Affliction Banned or Affliction Banned form UFC
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008The first Affliction Banned is in the books and it appears that we have some good results and maybe, just maybe some competition to the UFC. The night started off somewhat slow in my opinion. But the main fights made up for it. Their is truly no doubt about that. “The Pitbull” was at his A-game and looked good as we all know him. But the best part of the evening even though it was the shortest was to see Fedor dominate Tim Silvia. I have always been a great fan of Fedor. He shows all the qualities of a true champ. Just seeing him with what speed he is hitting and at what ease he rolled Silvia over for the chocke puts the heavyweight division in a whole new light. Don’t get me wrong I’m not down playing Tim Silvia’s skills because he is a great fighter but Fedor is on a different planet when it comes to fighting. This fight has hopefully opened Dana White’s eyes and brings him of his arrogant pedestal when it comes to contracts but most likely not and Affliction Banned will continue to grow and eat away at UFC dominance (so I hope cause competition keeps it better for us).
