Top bantamweight free agent Raufeon Stots signs multi-fight deal with Bellator

After years of looking for a permanent home, Raufeon Stots finally has found one.

According to his manager, Brian Butler of SuckerPunch Entertainment, Stots has signed a multi-fight, exclusive deal with Bellator. Butler announced the news Wednesday on his social media.

Highly regarded as one of the top bantamweight prospects in North America, Stots is riding a four-fight winning streak. Most recently, Stots competed for LFA. In his three outings for the promotion, Stots defeated all comers, including fellow top prospect Levi Mowles.

In his most recent outing at LFA 68 in May, Stots defeated 31-fight veteran Ralph Acosta by unanimous decision. Stots’ lone career defeat came in June 2017.

UFC president Dana White and company traveled across the United States for an episode of “Dana White: Lookin for a Fight” and targeted Stots as the guy they were looking to sign. However, 15 seconds into the Ring of Combat 59 headliner, Stots was knocked out cold by a spinning backfist from future UFC-signee Merab Dvalishvili.

No date or location has been given for Stots’ promotional debut at this time.
