Bellator is back in Connecticut this week for back-to-back cards with rematches in the main events.

Bellator 231 takes place Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The main card airs on Paramount and streams on DAZN following prelims on MMA Junkie.

In the main event, former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir (18-13 MMA, 0-2 BMMA) takes on Roy Nelson (23-17 MMA, 1-3 BMMA) in a rematch from a fight Mir won by unanimous decision in 2011. This time around, the oddsmakers have made Nelson a favorite of around -185, and our 13 MMA Junkie editors, writers, radio hosts and videographers are siding with him, as well, at a 10-3 clip in the only fight on the main card that isn’t unanimous among our pickers.

In the co-main event, former light heavyweight champ Phil Davis (20-5 MMA, 7-2 BMMA) returns to take on Bellator newcomer Karl Albrektsson (9-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA). Davis is more than a 4-1 favorite and one of four unanimous picks from our staff members.

Also on the main card, Ed Ruth (7-1 MMA, 7-1 BMMA) is a 13-0 pick as a favorite of more than 3-1 in his welterweight fight against Jason Jackson (10-3 MMA, 1-0 BMMA).

Former UFC fighter Bec Rawlings (7-8 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) makes her Bellator debut in the women’s flyweight division and is a 13-0 pick against Ilara Joanne (8-4 MMA, 0-0 BMMA). Rawlings is nearly a 3-1 favorite in the fight.

And to open the main card, Jake Hager (2-0 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) tries to move to 3-0 as a pro. He’s a heavy favorite of 7-1 against Anthony Garrett (4-2 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) in their heavyweight fight, and he’s a unanimous pick.
