How Israel Adesanya earned Jorge Masvidal’s utmost respect at a nightclub

NEW YORK – With Paulo Costa injured, the UFC is apparently looking at a new opponent to challenge middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

Allow Jorge Masvidal to sell you on why that challenger should be his good friend and teammate Yoel Romero.

According to “Gamebred,” who meets Nate Diaz on Saturday in the UFC 244 main event, he shared a moment with Adesanya (18-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) at a nightclub not long ago and “The Last Stylebender” said something about Romero (13-4 MMA, 9-3 UFC) that earned his complete and full respect.

Watch the video above as Masvidal unveils how that conversation went down.
