Storley Bags New Contract, Opponent For Bellator 233

Bellator 233 “Salter vs. van Steenis” takes place Nov. 8, 2019 at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma. The Friday night fights air on Paramount Network with a main event where middleweight contenders John Salter (16-4) and Costello van Steenis (12-1) will collide.

MMAmania.com has an exclusive announcement for this card straight from the brass at Bellator MMA. Undefeated welterweight Logan “Storm” Storley (10-0) has just been offered a new multi-fight contract with the promotion, and upon accepting the terms of the deal he also received a fight on this card with “The Pretty Boy” E.J. Brooks (13-5) in Thackerville.

The bout is certainly not a “gift” for Storley by any means. Brooks brings a five fight winning streak to Thackerville with all of those bouts going to decision, which means Storley may be in for a grueling fight unless he can find another stoppage in round one or two. The good news for “Storm” is that has happened in 70% of his fights to date.
