Was Donald Trump booed or cheered more at UFC 244? Check out video shot from arena floor

Maybe you’ve heard, but Donald Trump attended UFC 244 last week in New York. He and his family were there, of course, as special guests of his good friend, UFC president Dana White.

Like Trump or not, it was still a big deal to have a sitting U.S. president cageside to watch a UFC event. But seeing as this is Trump we’re talking about, and on the heels of his World Series appearance in Washington D.C. where he was definitely booed, we wondered heading into UFC 244 what the reception would be like at Madison Square Garden.

Trump is, after all, facing an impeachment inquiry.

So was he booed? Was he cheered? Was it more boos than cheers? Was it the other way around? Joe Rogan, who was cageside to call the fights, said the crowd “booed the (expletive)” out of Trump, who of course said his entrance felt like he was walking into a MAGA rally. In truth, it probably was mixed.

For what it’s worth, you can watch close-up video of Trump’s entrance in the video above and form your own opinion.
