Diaz Repays Fan Who Lost Rent Money On UFC 244

UFC welterweight veteran Nate Diaz probably thought he was doing some charitable work when he repaid a fan who lost his rent money on UFC 244, but opening up his wallet was like putting out a bowl of milk for a stray cat.

Tomorrow he’ll have a dozen more on his doorstep.

Diaz lost his “BMF” title fight by way of doctor’s stoppage earlier this month in New York City, and while an argument can be made for letting the contest continue, the first three rounds were not close and Jorge Masvidal was in complete control.

To the point where “Gamebred” won the second stanza by a score of 10-8.

It’s tempting to take a huge dump on this fan for doing something as reckless as betting with rent money, but I think I can speak for many of us when I say we’ve all done some dumb shit with our money when we weren’t supposed to.

No word yet on if or when Diaz will make his return to the Octagon. As for Masvidal, he’s expected to be frontrunner for the winner of Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Covington after they collide for the 170-pound title at UFC 245 next month in Las Vegas.
