Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) self-regulated its UFC Fight Night 165 mixed martial arts (MMA) event last weekend in Busan, South Korea, adhering to the established guidelines already in place from Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).

While salaries and other post-fight goodies will not be disclosed for those folks competing at “Edgar vs. Korean Zombie,” federal law requires stateside promotions to file its list of medical suspensions with Association of Boxing Commissions (ABC).

MixedMartialArts.com has been the sport’s official records keeper since 2008 and as expected, obtained the complete list of UFC Busan injuries and medical suspensions. I think it’s safe to say Frankie Edgar’s bantamweight debut won’t be taking place in Raleigh.

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases. In addition, not all injuries are recorded during the post-fight examination and often times surface in follow-up tests.
