Conor McGregor’s return draws announced 19,040 attendance, $11 million live gate at UFC 246

Saturday’s UFC 246 event drew an announced attendance of 19,040 fans for a live gate of $11,089,129.30.

UFC officials announced the figures following the event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass/ESPN+.

The attendance figure was the second highest in the UFC’s long history in Las Vegas. Only UFC 229 in October 2018 had a higher attendance number. That event’s gate was north of $17 million for Khabib Nurmagomedov’s lightweight title win over Conor McGregor.

In the UFC 246 main event, McGregor (22-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC) needed just 40 seconds to stop the UFC’s all-time wins leader, Donald Cerrone (36-14 MMA, 23-11 UFC), with a brutal TKO. McGregor was fighting for the first time in 15 months and got his first win in more than three years.
