Johnny Walker is shopping around for a new coach.

After parting ways with Leo Gosling in the wake of his UFC 244 loss to Corey Anderson, the Brazilian has been training at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada, with plans to make the eventual move to Tristar Gym in Montreal.

But if things don’t work out with Firas Zahabi, there’s always Plan B.

“I want to move to Las Vegas after my next fight and maybe I’ll do my next camps at Tristar,” Walker told MMA Fighting. “If I like it, I’ll stay there with him. If I don’t like it, I’ll go to (SBG with) John Kavanagh in Ireland. I’ve trained with him before, and now I’ll see how things go with Firas. I have two great coaches who want to work with me, so I’ll see which one is better for me.”

Walker blames his falling out with Gosling for his loss at UFC 244.

Zahabi is best known for leading Georges St-Pierre to the welterweight title back when “Rush” was still an active member of the UFC roster. Similarly, Kavanagh was the brains behind Conor McGregor’s rise to power at both featherweight and lightweight.

Walker (17-4) fights Nikita Krylov (26-7) at UFC Brasilia this March in Brazil.
