Boo this man!

Longtime Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight veteran, Derrick Lewis, has been trying to get his hands on former NFL player, Greg Hardy, ever since the “Prince of War” made his controversial Octagon debut back in January of 2019.

“The Black Beast” has a thing for street cage justice.

Unfortunately for the mattress spokesman, he’s unlikely to score a fight against Hardy in the foreseeable future. That’s because they share the same manager, who not surprisingly, wants nothing to do with a cross-client showdown.

“It don’t matter who [is next], I don’t care who man, ‘DC’ and Stipe are holding up the division, so it really don’t matter who, I don’t care, anybody but Greg Hardy, I’m not showing him no more attention,” Lewis told reporters. “We both got the same manager and my manager keep telling him to be quiet and my manager telling me, ‘Don’t even worry about him.’”

Lewis (23-7, 1 NC) recently captured his second-straight win by turning away former light heavyweight, Ilir Latifi, at the UFC 247 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which took place last Sat. night (Feb. 8, 2020) in “The Black Beast’s” backyard of Houston, Texas.

His victory over “The Sledgehammer” is unlikely to improve his current 265-pound ranking, where Lewis holds steady at No. 6. As far as his next opponent, Curtis Blaydes is currently available, and we’ll soon have a loser in the Francis Ngannou vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik showdown.
