Bellator Europe 7/Bellator 240 weigh-in results: Four miss weight, but all 20 bouts set to go ahead

Bellator Europe 7 and Bellator 240 take place Saturday at 3Arena in Dublin. The Bellator Europe 7 card streams on MMA Junkie. The Bellator 240 portion airs on Paramount and streams on DAZN via tape delay.

Four fighters missed weight at the early-morning weigh-in session in Dublin, but after commission officials cleared the contests and the fighters and their opponents agreed to proceed, the four bouts affected were changed to “contract weight” bouts.

Scotland’s Chris Bungard came in three pounds over for his lightweight matchup with Brent Primus. Their Bellator 240 main event bout will now go ahead as a 160-pound bout. Richard Kiely came in 1.2 pounds over his 180-pound limit for his bout with George Hardwick. Their matchup will now go ahead as a contracted weight of 182 pounds.

Constantin Blanita (146.4) and Alberth Diaz (149) both came in heavy for their respective featherweight matchups, and their bouts with Asael Adjoudj and Richie Smullen will both now proceed at newly-set contract weights.

All other fighters made weight without issue, as the 20-fight card remains intact ahead of Saturday night’s event.
