A lot of weird circumstances went into what this card ultimately became. With just hours to go before the scheduled main event, Josh Barnett withdrew with an illness and the expected Heavyweight fight against Ronny Markes fell apart. Even though Toby Misech grossly missed the mark at the weigh-ins, “El Goyito” Erik Perez agreed to take the fight anyway after Misech was fined 20 percent of his purse.

That didn’t work out so well for him.
