Darren Till has been chasing after Israel Adesanya for the better part of 2020, even going so far as to message the reigning UFC middleweight champion after hours, demanding a crack at the 185-pound crown.

Since “The Last Stylebender” already has his sights set on bigger and better opportunities, Till attempted to rally his social media followers for a potential coaching gig on the upcoming return of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).

About that …

Ouch.

UFC President Dana White is definitely open to having Adesanya coach TUF, which is expected to return later this year on ESPN+, but only if “The Last Stylebender” is paired with top middleweight contender, Paulo Costa.

If not, those two are likely to fight at some point this summer.

Till (18-2-1), a former welterweight title challenger, made the move up to 185 pounds at UFC 244 last November, an impressive showing against middleweight contender Kelvin Gastelum. The performance was enough to land him at No. 5 in the official rankings.

But not enough to land him Adesanya.
