ABU DHABI – This time around, the UFC’s flyweight title won’t have any drama attached to it.

Deiveson Figueiredo (18-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) and Joseph Benavidez (28-6 MMA, 15-4 UFC) meet Saturday in the UFC on ESPN+ 30 main event for the vacant 125-pound strap. Friday, both made weight at 125 pounds on the nose to become official.

In February, the two met for the vacant flyweight title in Virginia. But when Figueiredo missed weight, he no longer was eligible to win the belt. Only Benavidez could take it home. But Figueiredo knocked him out in the second round, which kept him as the top contender for the title – but left the belt vacant.

Saturday, they rematch at Flash Forum at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi in a card that streams on ESPN+, and barring a draw, the 125-pound division finally will get a new champion.

Check out Figueiredo and Benavidez on the scale at the official weigh-ins in the video above.
