Four champions confirmed for Cage Warriors’ September triple-header

Plans for Cage Warriors’ September triple-header are moving along at pace, with the confirmation that four of the promotion’s defending champions will put their titles on the line.

“Cage Warriors: The Trilogy” will see the promotion host three events on successive nights at the BEC Arena, Manchester from Sep. 24-26 in three events, Cage Warriors 114, 115 and 116.

The promotion has confirmed that newly-crowned lightweight champion Mason Jones will be in action, as well bantamweight champ Jack Cartwright. Middleweight belt-holder Nathias Frederick and flyweight champion Samir Faiddine will also be in action across the three-day, three-event run, which is expected to feature more than 30 fights across the three events.

In a press release announcing the promotion’s plans, the organization’s president Graham Boylan said the triple-header of behind-closed-doors shows represented the promotion’s biggest undertaking yet.

“We’ve pulled off big events before, but this is something else entirely,” he said. “All our biggest names across one weekend. We’re leaving no stone unturned.”

As well as the quartet of champions mentioned above Cage Warriors also confirmed that former featherweight champion Paddy Pimblett, rising French star Morgan Charriere and former middleweight champion James Webb will also be featured across the three fight cards. Prospects Adam Proctor, Luke Shanks and Ian Garry are also signed to compete.

“It’s taken a lot of planning, but we’re ready to get back on the road,” said Boylan. “We’re back to doing what we do best, and that’s showcasing Europe’s best talent and providing the proven pathway to the top.”

Cage Warriors 114, 115 and 116 take place on consecutive nights on Sep. 24, 25 and 26 respectively, and will stream live globally on UFC Fight Pass.
