Edmen Shahbazyan will take on Derek Brunson in the revamped main event of UFC Vegas 5, which goes down this Sat. night (Aug. 1, 2020) inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shahbazyan has yet to taste defeat in his combat career, going 11-0, 4-0 UFC, catching praise as one of brightest stars in the sport and potential future of the 185-pound division.

Before he faces one of his stiffest challenges to date, take a look at a highlight reel UFC put together of “The Golden Boy’s” top finishes in his career. And there were plenty to choose from, as Shabazyan has finished every single one of his opponents except for one.

• 40-second knockout win over Antonio Jones in 2018 (full fight here)
• First-round knockout of Charles Byrd at UFC 235 in 2019
• First-round submission of Jack Marshman at UFC 239
• First-round knockout of Brad Tavares at UFC 244

If he can score an impressive finish over Brunson, he gets one step closer to reaching his goal of taking over Jon Jones’s record of being the youngest UFC champion ever. In the co-main event of UFC Vegas 5, Joanne Calderwood will face Jennifer Maia while Vicente Luque faces Randy Brown in welterweight action on the main card.
