A featherweight matchup is the latest addition to the UFC’s Sep. 26 event.
The promotion has added Mirsad Bektic vs. Eduardo Garagorri to the event’s lineup. No location or name designation has been announced for the event at this time.
Both Bektic (13-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and Garagorri (13-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) recently confirmed the booking on social media after an initial report by MMA Fighting.
Bektic is on his first career losing skid and is coming off back-to-back losses to Josh Emmett and Dan Ige. Prior to that, he was 6-1 in the UFC, including a win over Ricardo Lamas at UFC 225.
After picking up a unanimous decision win over Humberto Bandenay in his UFC debut, Uruguay’s Garagorri suffered his first career blemish last November in a first-round submission loss to Ricardo Ramos.
With the addition, the current Sep. 26 lineup includes:
