Loureda Inks Multi-Year Deal With Bellator MMA

Bellator MMA

Bellator 244 “Bader vs. Nemkov” goes down August 21, 2020 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The main event sees Ryan Bader (27-5, 1 NC) defend his Light Heavyweight title against top contender Vadim Nemkov (11-2).

Previously Bellator 243 also took place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, where taekwondo master Valerie Loureda improved to 3-0 with a second round knockout of Tara Graff in a Flyweight contest. In response, Bellator MMA offered the rising star a brand new multi-year contract.

“I am pleased to have re-signed with Bellator,” Loureda said. “As I have always said, I am here to show the world the true martial artist that I am and chase the flyweight belt. I was born for this, I am a natural born fighter.”

Bellator touted her win from Uncasville, which was simulcast on YouTube and DAZN (get it HERE), as doing a combined 11 million views between all social media platforms. Those kind of numbers are clearly what lead to her getting this long term deal.
