Bringing you the weird and wild from the world of MMA each and every weeknight!

Welcome to Midnight Mania!

Of all the very dangerous men and women on the UFC roster, Francis Ngannou ranks highly among the most intimidating. He’s massive, in great shape, and has world-record shattering power behind his punches. He’s simply a scary man!

Enter Hoga Le Pitchichi, who clearly does not feel fear.

Hoga is a well-known comedian in Ngannou’s native country of Cameroon, and he stepped up to the plate in a big way by taking on “The Predator” in a charity MMA fight. Check it out below:

Ngannou’s battle with Hoga benefited the Francis Ngannou foundation. Ngannou’s foundation offers free martial arts lessons to Cameroonian youths, and it’s the first combat sports gym in the country.

While not busy dispatching comics for a good cause, Ngannou has been absolutely devastating the Heavyweight ranks. He’s won four straight bouts via knockout in just a couple of minutes total, establishing himself as the top contender to Stipe Miocic’s throne. However, Jon Jones’ move to Heavyweight is proving to be something of a threat to his position, as Jones may leapfrog Ngannou for his own title opportunity.

We’ll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.

Gerald Meerschaert is a significant step up in competition for Khamzat Chimaev.

This random lady really used hair pulls and a wrestling-style hand-fight to escape whatever is happening here. Amazing.

There’s no way Dustin Poirier vs. Tony Ferguson isn’t amazing. Also, Poirier’s Southpaw jab is quite nice!

This old clip of Mike Tyson shadowboxing is incredible.

Will Marcos Rogerio de Lima be the hammer or nail tomorrow? His bout seems unlikely to leave the first round regardless.

An update from Dana White on fighter pay:

Slips, rips, and KO clips

One of my primary sparring partners picked up a the first-round knockout win with a big combination of power shots at tonight’s LFA event. Congrats Allan! Not the guy to walk straight towards …

Few experiences the highest highs and lowest lows all in one fight quite as often as Michael Johnson.

Kevin Lee’s head kick knockout opposite Gregor Gillespie was really spectacular, and it’s worth re-watching from all these angles.
