Russian fight fans who don’t have access to either of those outlets just got some welcome news from Bellator MMA. The promotion has just signed an agreement with Okko Sport to become its exclusive broadcast partner starting Jan. 1, 2021. Okko is already home to English Premier League football (soccer), MLS and CONCACAF qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Here’s what Bellator President Scott Coker had to say about the three-year agreement:

“I am thrilled to announce our new exclusive broadcast partner in Russia on Okko Sport beginning in 2021. Russia has played an integral part in the history of combat sports throughout the years and has also proven to be a very important market for the international growth of Bellator. When you look at the where the sport is today, our roster is filled with notable Russian fighters, including legend Fedor Emelianenko, current light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov, former champ Vitaly Minakov and numerous young prospects. Partnering with a leading broadcaster in Okko Sport, which is also home to several other notable sports properties, allows us to showcase the elite competition that takes place inside the Bellator cage at every live event to our devoted Russian fanbase.”
