LAS VEGAS – Kyle Nelson is unfazed by what Billy Quarantillo has to bring to the table.
Ahead of Saturday’s UFC on ESPN+ 35, Nelson (13-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) sat down to talk about his preparation and main card opener vs. Quarantillo (14-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC) during Thursday’s media day.
“I think he’s a good opponent, well-rounded,” Nelson said. “He’s definitely best on the ground, but I think he’s a little more of a survivor – not really a killer. I don’t think he poses a lot of danger to me. I think his best bet is to try and take me down and try and ride out a boring decision win, but I’m not going to let him do that.”
