Former UFC champion Holly Holm had her way with Irene Aldana on Saturday, pulling off a rout in the UFC on ESPN 16 main event.

Holm (14-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC), a former women’s bantamweight titleholder, offered better striking and grappling than Aldana Aldana (12-6 MMA, 5-4 UFC) over the course of five rounds, taking a unanimous decision in the ESPN-televised headliner at Flash Forum at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

Now on a winning streak for the first time since 2016, Holm puts herself in good position for another big fight. Rematches with Germaine de Randamie (10-4 MMA, 7-2 UFC), who beat Holm for the women’s featherweight belt at UFC 208 in February 2017, and Amanda Nunes (20-4 MMA, 13-1 UFC), who own a knockout win over Holm at UFC 239 in July 2019, were the two fights mentioned after her win.

Do those fights make sense for Holm, though? Watch the video above for full thoughts and analysis on her future after UFC on ESPN 16.
