Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight title contender Anthony Johnson is expected to make his return to the Octagon in early 2021, which is probably why “Rumble” is paying so much attention to what’s going on inside the cage.

And with both Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa teasing a move up to 205 pounds at some point in the very near future, it should come as no surprise to learn that Johnson was keeping a close eye on the UFC 253 pay-per-view (PPV) main event.

Which ended with a “loose booty.”

“I don’t understand all of a sudden either why Costa is getting so upset after he saw what ‘Stylebender’ did to him,” Johnson told Mike Swick (transcribed by Chris Taylor). “I was like Dude, you were the one talking so much and then he gets you at the end and now you mad? Because he embarrassed you? Come on man, grow some balls. Man up to that.”

Costa took exception to those remarks.

“Anthony Rumble Johnson shut up moron you even don’t know which weight class you should fight,” the Brazilian wrote on Twitter.

Johnson left the promotion as a light heavyweight but then ballooned up to nearly 300 pounds after retiring and crossing over to bodybuilding. “Rumble” aims to work his way back down to his most recent weight class upon his return and recently issued a stern warning to Costa.

“I don’t do the talking back and forth but the last BBC you did that to fucked your ass at the end DOGGY STYLE,” Johnson said. “Now your name is LOOSE BOOTY. You must want missionary next by me? I respect you but make sure you know your role. I’m not the one kid.”

An opponent for Johnson’s return has yet to be revealed.
