‘The Din Diaries’: UFC veteran and coach Din Thomas documents his ‘UFC Fight Island’ experience

We hear a lot from the athletes who compete on “UFC Fight Island,” but not so much from the people behind the fighters. But, thanks to the UFC’s cameras, we’re given a fresh perspective of life inside the bubble in Yas Island.

UFC fighter Din Thomas shares his thoughts and experiences in a revealing and personal journey that has seen him experience the frustration of watching a fighter losing inside the octagon, the encouragement of seeing a fighter improving their career, and the pride in awarding a black belt to one of his students.

In “The Din Diaries,” Thomas takes us inside the UFC bubble on “Fight Island” as he recaps his experience of cornering Tyron Woodley for his TKO defeat to Colby Covington back in Vegas, then hooks up with strawweight contender Angela Hill to help her refine her techniques.

Thomas also shares the moment when he awarded Gillian Robertson her Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt ahead of her fight with Poliana Botelho at UFC on ESPN+ 38.

Check out the full video above as Thomas shares a personal snapshot of life in Abu Dhabi.
