LIVE! UFC 255 PPV Radio-Style Streaming Updates

We’ve purchased the ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) and with it our dynamic tag team duo, Matt Ryan and Harry Terjanian, will deliver the best possible ‘radio style’ play-by-play broadcast imaginable throughout UFC 255’s main card, starting at 10 p.m. ET in the video player below!

Holy crap … it’s already November?

Yeah, amidst the year that has brought us a pandemic, a leaking Rudy Giuliani, the NBA bubble, TikTok, and more banana bread baked than in any year on record, we’ve had a lot of great fights!

This weekend (Sat., Nov. 21, 2020) we reach a pay-per-view (PPV) card, UFC 255, that is emblematic of 2020. It features two title fights that will showcase challengers that we’re confused on how the hell they got here. And Jennifer Maia and Alex Perez do not hate me (send your hate mail to [email protected]), but when we think of UFC PPV main events, the Flyweight division challengers do not immediately come to mind.

Valentina Shevchenko is a MONSTER and is about to defend her title for a fourth time and avoided a challenge in Joanne Calderwood because “JoJo” needed to fight. Deiveson Figueiredo also had another opponent set (Cody Garbrandt) before we headed into Saturday, and it seems like he survived the scale for the second time in three title fights.

That scares me.

The UFC Flyweight division on both ends have a tenuous grasp on relevancy in mixed martial arts (MMA) because of the aforementioned dominance of Shevchenko and the loss of Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo in concurrent years, and now we have a supremely talented ex-sushi chef turning Joe Benavidez into sashimi on ESPN+.

As UFC enters its 28th year, we continue to wonder what is next for a promotion that has lost a multitude of stars just this year, and Conor McGregor’s annual fight set for Jan. 2021 before he retires again and then attempts to schedule a pretend fight with Sugar Ray Leonard.

Want to tell me I’m wrong? Tune in tonight at 9:45 p.m. ET for our UFC 255 live stream! Harry Terjanian and I will be calling the action, Stephanie Sottile will be reading your comments and ensuring all of your fat jokes are seen and, of course, my dog Olive will probably be translating throughout the night.

So don’t be a lame and watch us!
