ONE Championship 122 video: Check out the best of the action from Singapore

Asia’s leading mixed martial arts organization was back in action Friday with a fight card mix of MMA and kickboxing at ONE Championship 122 at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

In the night’s featured MMA matchup, American grappling ace Garry Tonon continued his rise up the promotion’s featherweight rankings by defeating Japanese former title challenger Koyomi Matsushita.

Tonon used his grappling to totally dominated Matsushita through the first two rounds and, though the Japanese fighter rallied late in the third, Tonon’s mastery on the mat ensured he earned a unanimous decision verdict from the three judges at cageside.

The night also featured wins for women’s atomweight contenders Ritu Phogat and Jihin Radzuan, but arguably the performance of the night came from strawweight Bokang Masunyane, whose first-round head-kick knockout of former title challenger Rene Catalan immediately thrust the South African into the title picture heading into 2021.
