Preview! Hermansson Looking To End ‘Italian Dream’

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight contender Jack Hermansson collides with streaking 185-pound standout Marvin Vettori in the UFC Vegas 16 mixed martial arts (MMA) main event on ESPN+ and ESPN2 tonight(Sat., Dec. 5, 2020) inside APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hermansson (21-5) is currently ranked No. 4 in the division and has now captured five of his last six, including last July’s first-round submission over Kelvin Gastelum. He was originally expected to collide with Kevin Holland; however, “Trailblazer” was felled by coronavirus.

As for Vettori (15-4-1), who sits just outside the Top 10 at No. 13, he’s coming off three straight wins following his split-decision loss to middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, including last June’s submission victory over veteran bruiser Karl Roberson.
