LIVE! UFC 256 PPV Radio-Style Streaming Updates

We’ve purchased the ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) and with it our dynamic tag team duo, Matt Ryan and Harry Terjanian, will deliver the best possible ‘radio style’ play-by-play broadcast imaginable throughout UFC 256’s main card, starting at 10 p.m. ET in the video player below!

It is the time for holidays and the time for the final Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) pay-per-view (PPV) of this cursed year, 2020, and I am glad that it’s almost over. Let’s get right to it: 2020 sucked. It sucked a lot. Many of us were sick, many have lost loved ones, and others have lost their jobs, their homes, their sense of security amid something that is a once-in-a-century nightmare.

And while we rebuild our lives or the idea of what is “normal” anymore, we look toward the things that make us happy. For all of us on this website it is organized violence … or a dash of lavender oil in the bath.

The circumstances surrounding UFC’s 2020 calendar have not been the best, or handled the best, or were so poorly marketed that we thought we were going to get a “Fight Island,” when all we got was an extended residency in the city that Nermal got shipped to on “Garfield and Friends.”

Yet, we’ve seen new champions rise, legacies come full circle, the future of UFC prove themselves in some of the most dire circumstances, and some fights that made the squash matches on “SuperStars of Wrestling” feel like Hagler vs. Hearns.

Either way, we close out 2020 with a bottle of cheer, me yelling at my television for your enjoyment, Harry and I continuing to look like Aqualung, and Stephanie Sottile making sure only the best and most offensive fat jokes make it through on the chat.

This year blew, but we still had fun. And we cannot wait to see Deiveson Figueiredo try to destroy another human on two weeks notice.

See you tonight at 9:45-ish!
