Check out odds for who will be UFC champions at the end of 2021
After a year in which not a single UFC champion lost his or her title, only one is expected to in 2021 – at least according to the oddsmakers.
In looking ahead to which fighters will end 2021 as UFC champion, reigning titleholder Stipe Miocic is not the favorite at heavyweight, according to sportsbook BetOnline. Instead, that goes to Francis Ngannou, whom Miocic defeated in January 2018 and is expected to rematch in the early portion of the year. Former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who’s making the move up a division, is listed third.
BetOnline created futures odds for 11 of 12 UFC divisions, with the exception of lightweight.
Also of note:
- Khamzat Chimaev is listed ahead of both Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards at welterweight.
- Chimaev is also listed at middleweight.
- Conor McGregor odds are listed at welterweight.
- Israel Adesanya tops the light heavyweight odds, with Jones second.
- Amanda Nunes has the likeliest odds of any division by a wide margin at women’s featherweight.
