The UFC’s first pay-per-view of the year was one to remember. UFC 257 took place Saturday at Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and saw two of the most decorated fighters in company history rematch in the main event.

After losing the first meeting back in 2014, Dustin Poirier (27-6 MMA, 19-5 UFC) rose to the occasion in his rematch with Conor McGregor (22-5 MMA, 10-3 UFC), becoming the first in MMA to stop the Irishman with strikes when he scored a second-round TKO in the lightweight headliner.
