Francis Ngannou will get his second opportunity to win the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight title when he faces current division king, Stipe Miocic, for a second time in a title fight in the main event of UFC 260 this Sat. (March 27) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In their first fight, Miocic was able to weather an early striking storm form “The Predator” and went on to win a unanimous decision after five rounds of action. Going the distance isn’t Ngannou’s main objective because he has a knack for ending fights early and violently.

All you have to do is look back at “The Predator’s” crushing knockout win over Alistair Overeem, which occurred at UFC 218 in Dec of 2017. Both big men started off with a furious pace in search of a homerun shot. In a smart move, “The Reem” eventually went for a takedown, though he wasn’t able to capitalize. Upon a break, the two once again met in the center of the cage and started exchanging strikes.

And then it happened.

After eating a lazy left hook from Overeem, Ngannou snuck in an absolute vicious left uppercut that snapped “The Demolition Man’s” head back rather violently and dropped him like a heavy sack of potatoes. Overeem was already out before his head hit the canvas, but “The Predator” made sure the job was finished and delivered a heavy hammer fist for good measure.

Soon thereafter, Ngannou suffered back-to-back losses to Miocic and Derrick Lewis, though he bounced back nicely with four straight first round knockout wins that have totaled just 162 seconds of actual cage time. Anyone think he can he catch Miocic with one of his infamous one-hitter quitters this time around?
