Video: Israel Adesanya, Marvin Vettori come in under weight limit for UFC 263 title rematch

PHOENIX – The middleweight title rematch between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori at UFC 263 is official.

More than three years after their first meeting, the second encounter between Adesanya (20-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) and Vettori (17-4-1 MMA, 7-2-1 UFC) is locked in after both men made weight at Friday’s official weigh-in.

There was plenty of wiggle room on the scale, too, because Adesanya came in at 183.5 pounds and Vettori was 184.5 pounds.

Vettori was among the first to weigh in, while Adesanya came in roughly one hour into the two-hour window.

Adesanya won the first fight by split decision, and both men will seek a definitive win when they clash in Saturday’s pay-per-view headliner at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Ariz. Prelims air on ESPN and stream on ESPN+.
