When the UFC creates a pay-per-view event, the promotion typically stacks the card with exciting matchups between familiar names.

There is more to a UFC pay-per-view than just the fights, however. There are usually a number of official fight week events including open workouts, press conferences, and ceremonial weigh-ins.

At open workouts, fans get a glimpse of their favorite fighters in action, usually melting pads or tossing training partners around for a few minutes.

Press conferences have produced a number of memorable moments over the years, including heated verbal exchanges and a few physical altercations.

Although fighters aren’t really recording their weight at ceremonial weigh-ins, it serves as the opportunity for the fans to witness the fighters in one last staredown with their opponent before the fight.

So, what is the best part of a UFC pay-per-view fight week?

This question was answered on the latest episode of “Spinning Back Clique,” hosted by George Garcia with panelists Nolan King, Mike Bohn, and Brian Garcia.
