Aung La N Sang vs. Leandro Ataides co-headlines ONE Championship: Battleground on July 30

Aung La N Sang and Leandro Ataides both will look to rebound from losses to Reinier de Ridder.

N Sang (26-12-1) meets Ataides (11-4) in the co-main event of ONE Championship: Battleground, which takes place July 30 at Singapore Indoor Stadium. The main card airs on the B/R Live app at 8:30 a.m. ET via tape delay.

N Sang, a former ONE Championship dual title holder, is coming off two straight losses to de Ridder in which he dropped both his middleweight and light heavyweight titles. Prior to that, “The Burmese Python” had won seven in a row, with only one fight going the distance.

Brazil’s Ataides hasn’t competed since February 2020 when he was edged out by de Ridder in a split decision loss. The former middleweight title challenger has fought only once in the past three years and will attempt to once again emerge as a title contender when he faces N Sang.

Also on the card is the return of 17-year-old phenom Victoria Lee, who faces China’s Wang Lu Ping (3-2) in the night’s opener. Lee, younger sister of current ONE champions Angela and Christian Lee, made good in her pro MMA debut when she submitted Sunisa Srisen in the second round at ONE Championship 129: Fists of Fury in February.
