Former UFC champion Tito Ortiz levies accusations against fellow legend Anderson Silva in the aftermath of their Triller boxing fight.

Tito Ortiz attempts to dismiss fellow former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) titleholder Anderson Silva’s victory in the aftermath of their recent boxing match.

Silva vs. Ortiz served as the co-main event of Triller’s boxing pay-per-view (PPV), which took place inside Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla on Sat., Sept. 11. The card was headlined by Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort (watch highlights). Silva scored a faceplant knockout (KO) against an overzealous Ortiz (watch highlights). The finish officially came at 1:22 of round one.

“Nice right hand. But I didn’t know punching behind the head were [sic] legal,” Ortiz captioned a since-deleted post on his social media on Tuesday. “I need to practice this combo. Now I know why the back of my head has been sore as hell.”

A skeleton of Ortiz’s deleted tweet was captured by BJPenn.com.

Silva vs. Ortiz was thought to be a professional boxing match; however, Triller was accused of lying to the public after it was revealed the match was an exhibition. Holyfield vs. Belfort and David Haye vs. Joe Furnier were also exhibition fights.
