Ortega Happy ‘With Or Without The Belt’

UFC just dropped another “Embedded” video preview ahead of the UFC 266 pay-per-view (PPV) event this Sat. night (Sept. 25) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight contender Brian Ortega has been getting dragged through the mud by reigning 145-pound titleholder Alex Volkanovski, who referred to “T-City” as a “sensitive little pansy” who is surrounded by “yes men.”

Perhaps he doesn’t understand Ortega’s new outlook on life.

“I’m in a better place mentally,” Ortega said on Episode 4 of UFC 266 Embedded. “I’m happy with or without the belt, where I thought before happiness only came with the belt. It’s the way you have your perspective on things. Either you choose to be miserable and have all this stress, or you wanna just live with a mind full of clarity and happiness. I chose to live stress free. Hakuna matata.”

Also getting some airtime in the fourth episode of “Embedded” is longtime welterweight bruiser Robbie Lawler. “Ruthless” promised the fans an “awesome fight” when he rematches the returning Nate Diaz Nick Diaz on the UFC 266 main card.
