UFC Fight Night 198 medical suspensions: Miesha Tate facing 180 days off due to potential fractures

UFC Fight Night 198 took place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and produced the most decisions to kick off a card since July 2019.

During the 10 battles that went the distance, and the lone bout that ended in a submission, injuries were sustained. As a result, six fighters were handed 180-day suspensions by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC).

On Tuesday, MMA Junkie acquired a full list of UFC Fight Night 198 medical suspensions from MixedMartialArts.com, the official database of the Association of Boxing Commissions.

Headliner Miesha Tate joined Joanne Wood and Adrian Yanez as the three main card fighters facing potential six-month terms. As for the preliminary card, Rafa Garcia, Loopy Godinez, and Cody Durden were also handed potential 180-day terms.

Fighters can return sooner from their suspensions if/when the injuries outlined in the UFC Fight Night 198 medical reports are cleared by a physician prior.
