UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling now has one title defense to his credit.
Sterling defeated Petr Yan in their title rematch at UFC 273, and although it was a close split decision victory that sparked a ton of debate in MMA circles, it appears that everyone believes it’s time to move on to other matchups.
The bantamweight division certainly isn’t lacking worth contenders, and one of them was cageside at UFC 273, former champion T.J. Dillashaw. During his post-fight interview, Sterling turned his attention to him, and delivered some harsh words. So, should that be the next fight to make in the bantamweight division?
What about other worthy contenders such as former champion Jose Aldo? Who should be next for Yan if a third fight against Sterling isn’t next?
