Conor McGregor doing work: A timeline of UFC star’s training on road to recovery

When will Conor McGregor return to the UFC? Who will he fight? Those question are yet to be answered.

What we do know is that McGregor has been back to training for quite some time now as he works toward being 100 percent following his nasty leg break.

McGregor broke his leg last July in an injury TKO loss to Dustin Poirier, which occurred in the final moments of the first round at UFC 264. McGregor’s leg completely snapped at the shin in gruesome fashion, putting him on a long road to recovery.

McGregor’s options are seemingly unlimited as he’s been called out by the likes of Charles Oliveira, Michael Chandler, Justin Gaethje, and Tony Ferguson at lightweight this year. McGregor, meanwhile, has said he would “waltz” back into a welterweight title fight against Kamaru Usman. And, of course, there’s always the possibility of a trilogy with Nate Diaz (if the two can agree).

McGregor, who has bulked up significantly, appears to be in great physical condition. He’s spent much of this year chronicling his training on his road to recovery, which you can check out below starting back in February.
