Video: Is Paddy Pimblett ready to be the UFC’s next pay-per-view star?

Paddy Pimblett continued his ascension to stardom this past Saturday with another win in front of his home fans.

Pimblett (19-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) stole the show at UFC Fight Night 208 at The O2 in London when he rallied for a second-round submission of Jordan Leavitt (10-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC). Afterward, an emotional Pimblett further endeared himself to a new legion of fans when he spoke about a friend’s suicide and encouraged men, in particular, to not be ashamed to reach out for help in time of emotional distress.

When the dust had settled from his fight, though, Pimblett said he thinks three wins into his UFC career, he’s already reached the point that Fight Night events in England aren’t big enough for him. He thinks he needs to be dropped into the world of major UFC pay-per-views in Las Vegas.

Is that the right move for the UFC to make with “Paddy the Baddy” and his often larger-than-life personality that has been compared to the early rise of Conor McGregor? That’s what we asked our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Brian “Goze” Garcia, Mike Bohn and Nolan King, along with host “Gorgeous” George Garcia.

Check out their breakdown in the video above. And don’t miss this week’s full episode in the video below.
