NAC approves seven UFC event licenses for remainder of 2022, including six UFC Apex shows

There is a lot more of home in the UFC’s immediate future.

Of the past 20 UFC events, just eight have taken place in Las Vegas. However, the promotion is planning a Vegas-heavy end to 2022. On Tuesday, the Nevada Athletic Commission approved event licenses for seven of the UFC’s 10 final dates of the calendar year to take place in Las Vegas.

Six events will take place at the UFC Apex, with one year-end pay-per-view at T-Mobile Arena.

The only three events that will not take place in Nevada to close out 2022 are UFC 280 (Oct. 22 in Abu Dhabi), UFC 281 (Nov. 12 in New York), and UFC Fight Night (Dec. 3 in Orlando, Fla.).
