Aljamain Sterling says Raul Rosas Jr. should ‘slow down’ UFC title talk but would be ‘highly shocked’ if he’s not champ

UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling liked what he saw out of Raul Rosas Jr. but thinks he shouldn’t get too far ahead of himself.

Rosas (6-0), 17, became the youngest fighter to earn a UFC contract after he dominated Mando Gutierrez at Dana White’s Contender Series 55 on Tuesday. The confident Mexican prospect vowed to become the youngest champion in UFC history and said he’d even be willing to fight a top-five opponent in his debut.

Rosas definitely got Sterling’s attention as the champ dubbed him a future title holder. But fighting a top-five opponent right off the bat? Sterling says slow your roll to that.
