2022 PFL Championships pay-per-view price announced

The PFL has revealed the price for its first pay-per-view event.

While it is a couple of Alexander Hamiltons away from the UFC’s typical asking price, the 2022 PFL Championships will run viewers $49.99. The event will take place Friday, Nov. 25 at Hulu Theatre in New York and be available for purchase on ESPN+.

The main card features six title fights, including Kayla Harrison vs. Larissa Pacheco in the main event. It also features a non-title bout between former Bellator women’s featherweight champion Julia Budd and former UFC contender Aspen Ladd.

Comparatively, UFC pay-per-views typically cost $69.99, while other major promotions usually stay away from pay-per-view events. Bellator has run two pay-per-views in its history. The first, Bellator 120 in 2014, cost $39.99. The second, Bellator 175 in 2017, was $49.95.

KSW has its upcoming pay-per-view event priced at $9.99, while RIZIN’s most recent event ran American viewers approximately $31.58.

Bare-knuckle fighting promotion BKFC has pivoted away from its pay-per-view model and toward a monthly subscription. Fans can watch its events for $4.99 per month.
