Joe Biden drops out of presidential race, UFC fighters react

Joe Biden will no longer lead the Democrats into the 2024 election in November. As the groundbreaking news dropped, it only adds to the confusion surrounding the States at present, UFC fighters wasted no time in sharing their thoughts.

Just last week, Donald Trump was the target for an assassination attempt. The bullet that hit Trump was just millimetres from killing him, but now he is likely the leading candidate to win the election following his opposition’s withdrawal.

Despite his inauguration coming just three years ago, Joe Biden has now ended his candidacy for re-election. Biden made his decision clear with a post on social media earlier today.

Biden began by listing some of the goals he and his team have achieved during his time in office.

“My fellow Americans,” Biden stated. “Over the past three and a half years, we have made great progress as a Nation.”

“Today, America has the strongest economy in the world. We’ve made historic investments in rebuilding our Nation, in lowering prescription drug costs for seniors, and in expanding affordable health care to a record number of Americans.”

“We’ve provided critically needed care to a million veterans exposed to toxic substances. Passed the first gun safety law in 30 years.”

“Appointed the first African American woman to the Supreme Court. And passed the most significant climate legislation in the history of the world. America has never been better positioned to lead than we are today.”

Biden then went on to shock the world by pulling out of the race for presidency.

“It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President.”

“While it has been my intention to seek re-election, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.”
