Paul wasn’t impressed with McGregor (and MMA fans) turning on Perry after many expected ‘Platinum’ to flatten the YouTuber turned boxer.

Jake Paul has nothing but respect for Mike Perry after facing the BKFC star in the boxing ring.

A lot of people were wondering if Paul had bitten off more than he could chew facing the violently aggressive “Platinum,” but as usual, Jake had enough advantages to batter Perry en route to a sixth round TKO victory. Size was a major factor: he was way bigger. But we can’t deny another: he was just the slicker boxer.

He made Perry look one dimensional, which led to interested third-party Conor McGregor ‘firing’ Perry from BKFC over his performance. Paul fired back defending his opponent.

“Mike Perry is a f—ing beast and has a lot more balls than that little leprechaun,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Where all those MMA experts at that said Mike Perry was going to end me?”

At the post-fight press conference, Paul was nothing but complimentary of Perry, who did more heavy lifting promotional wise than most of Jake’s past opponents combined.

“Man, that guy is tough,” he said. “He took damage like no one I’ve ever seen before. But I knew that if I didn’t get him out of there in the first round that it would happen later on in the fight.

“He just kept coming. So respect to Mike Perry. That’s why he’s the King of Violence, Former King of Violence – I’m the new King of Violence, but respect to him.”

Concern was so high for Paul that Mike Tyson was calling him, worried he was putting their November 15th superfight in jeopardy. Instead, he put a one sided whupping on “Platinum.”

“I love what I’m backed into a corner because there’s only one thing to do, and that’s fight your way out,” he said. “People don’t believe in my skill. They said this was a mistake. They always sit across from me and underestimate me and think they can beat me. But people don’t realize my speed, my power.”

That speed and power will be on display November 15th when Paul fights a 58 year old Mike Tyson. Are you looking forward to it, Maniacs?
