‘Inner G’ Books Fourth Fight Of 2024

“InnerG” is staying super active.

Earlier this week (Thurs., July 25, 2024), Charles Johnson announced on Twitter that he will fight former Top 15-ranked Flyweight, Su Mudaerji, on Oct. 12, 2024. The fight is expected to take place inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This will be Johnson’s fourth fight in 2024 as he looks to go undefeated (4-0) this year.

Johnson (16-6) was in action two weeks ago against UFC Denver and scored a huge knockout win against mega prospect Joshua Van (watch highlights). Oh, and that fight was set up on super short notice.

If the 33-year-old continues his pace of fights, he can tie Kevin Holland’s historic 2020 run when he won five fights in a calendar year — the only fighter in UFC history to do so. Or, depending on injuries and timing, he could set the record.

Johnson’s UFC run has been inspirational to watch. He was on the verge of being released from the promotion after going 2-4 and losing three fights in a row. However, with his UFC career on the line, he battled back and has now won three in a row.

“InnerG” started this year by taking out then-undefeated prospect Azat Maksum as a heavy underdog, then took out Jake Hadley in his hometown of St. Louis, Mo., and most recently finished Van.
