Taylor Gets Slapped (AGAIN), All Hell Breaks Loose!

Anthony Taylor is no stranger to beefs and out-of-the ring antics such as this one. And earlier today, the pro boxer once again found himself in the middle of a scuffle after his opponent, Gabriel Silva, got physical during at a staredown.

The two men came face-to-face during a recent press conference to promote their upcoming light heavyweight boxing match at this Saturday’s (Aug. 31, 2024) Misfits 17 event and things got out of hand in a hurry. While the pre-fight face-to-face trash talk is nothing new, Silva took it a step further by slapping Taylor. And though it wasn’t exactly full force, it was enough to send Taylor into a frenzy:

Slapping Taylor at a presser seems to be the norm.

Prior to the face off, Taylor was in full trash talk mode, vowing to not only beat him in boxing but in mixed martial arts (MMA), too. Once he accomplishes those lofty goals, Taylor took it a step further by saying he would also beatdown Silva’s brother and father.

The bad blood is very real between these two men, and one can only hope that they keep that same energy once they step into the boxing ring this Saturday inside 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
