Next week’s Bellator London event — which is set to go down on Sat. Sept. 14, 2024 inside OVO Arena Wembley in London, England — has lost its original title fight headliner between Johnny Eblen and Fabian Edwards. No reason for the cancellation was given, though the championship rematch is expected to be rescheduled soon.

The event will now feature a women’s featherweight fight between Leah McCourt and Sara Collins. McCourt was last seen defeating Sara McMann at Bellator 300 in Oct. 2024. She was hoping to lock down a title fight against Cris Cyborg, but that never came to be and the dominant 145-pound champion will face PFL’s title holder, Larissa Pacheco, on Oct. 19.

Nevertheless, McCourt could very well slide in to face the winner with a dominant win of her own over Collins, who is undefeated at 5-0 and was last seen defeating Sinead Kavanagh at Bellator 299, her second straight win inside the Bellator cage.

Bellator London will also feature a light heavyweight fight between Simeon Powell and Rafael Xavier, as well as the debut of former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight, Marc Diakiese, facing off against Tim Wilde.
